Kerry Washington: Married to Nnamdi Asomugha!

Kerry Washington has tied the knot with her boyfriend of one year, football player Nnamdi Asomugha, according to E! News.

The 36-year-old Scandal actress and the 31-year-old San Francisco 49ers cornerback got married on June 24 in Blaine County, Idaho.

Kerry became one of the most buzzed about actresses of the past year with her breakout role as Olivia Pope on Scandal and her turn as an enslaved woman in Django Unchained. Nnamdi was signed to the 49ers in April and previously played for the Oakland Raiders for eight seasons and the Philadelphia Eagles for another two.

Both Kerry and Nnamdi are dedicated activists and philanthropists. He has participated in the Clinton Global Initiative every year since 2009.
