300's Sullivan Stapleton: Staying in Shape is Boring!

Here’s what the 36-year-old 300: Rise of an Empire actor had to share with the mag:

On never thinking he’d have a six pack: “I never believed I’d have a six-pack, especially not at 35 years old. I always thought it was a genetic blessing. It’s not. You just have to be willing to do what it takes.”

On not keeping his six pack after filming his film: “To stay in that kind of shape is boring, really. If we go out to dinner, you choose from the entire menu—and I have steak, no sauce. You order off the wine list; I order water. And I love wine. It’s not so bad when you’re paid to do it, but to maintain a six-pack constantly just isn’t worth it to me.”

On his biggest hero: “My mother. Toughest lady I know.”
