Russell Crowe & 'Gladiator' Cast Reunite at the Colosseum for Charity Event!

Russell Crowe is reuniting with the Gladiator cast!

The 54-year-old actor joined Connie Nielsen and Tomas Arana for a special screening of their movie on Wednesday (June 6) for 350 lucky guests at the Colosseum in Rome, Italy.

During the screening, a live orchestra was on hand to perform the score, as well as soundtrack co-writer Lisa Gerrard, who provided vocals.

The event was a fundraiser for Rotary’s End Polio Now initiative.

“Tonight, I will be watching Gladiator for the first time since it premiered. For the people of Rome, they have a special connection to this film, so watching this screening with them will be an emotional experience for me,” Russell said before the screening.

A.S. Roma football player Francesco Totti also presented Russell with a signed jersey with the name of his character, Maximus, featured on the back.
