MTV Movie & TV Awards 2018 Ratings Up From Last Year!

The 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards, hosted by Tiffany Haddish, enjoyed a boost in ratings compared to last year, according to the official numbers from Nielsen.

The show, which aired on Monday (June 18), enjoyed a viewership of 3.371 million viewers across Viacom’s 10 cable channels, which is a 21% increase from the previous year.

The increase was even more extreme on MTV and VH1 specifically: the show enjoyed a 37% boost compared to last year on both networks. It was also the most socialized TV show of the evening, and was streamed 83 million times according to MTV’s internal data.
