Katie Holmes flashes a smile as she steps out to do some grocery shopping on Friday afternoon (October 26) in New York City.

The 39-year-old actress stayed warm in a faux-fur lined parka, gray sweatpants, and cozy boots as she kicked off her morning by running a couple of errands around her neighborhood.
