Dualstar Entertainment Group produced the Olsen Twins‘ 1999 film Passport to Paris, 2000′s Our Lips Are Sealed, 2001′s Winning London and Holiday in the Sun, So Little Time in 2001–02, 2002′s Getting There and When in Rome, 2003′s The Challenge, and 2004′s New York Minute, their last film together. They also appeared in 2003′s Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle.

Mary-Kate went on to star in Weeds in 2007, 2008′s The Wackness, Samantha Who? in 2008, and 2011′s Beastly. Ashley appeared in 2009′s The Jerk Theory and 2013′s 30 Seconds to Mars: City of Angels video short.

In 2012, the sisters announced that they would be retiring as actresses in order to focus on their fashion industry careers. They co-founded The Row, Elizabeth and James, Olsenboye, and StyleMint. They also wrote the fashion-inspired book “Influence” and are members of the Council of Fashion Designers of America.

In 2015, Mary-Kate married French banker Olivier Sarkozy, the half-brother of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
