'The Passage' & 'Cool Kids' Both Canceled at Fox

The Passage and The Cool Kids have been canceled by Fox.

The network made the announcement about the respective drama series and comedy series on Friday (May 10), Variety reports.

Both shows were on the air for just one season.

The Passage was executive produced by Ridley Scott and starred Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Saniyya Sidney. It focused on a botched U.S. government experiment that turns a group of death row inmates into highly infectious vampires, and an orphan girl who might be the only person able to stop the ensuing crisis.

The first season of The Passage also starred Jamie McShane, Caroline Chikezie, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Brianne Howey, McKinley Belcher III, Henry Ian Cusick, and Vincent Piazza.

The multi-camera comedy The Cool Kids hailed from executive producer Charlie Day and starred Martin Mull, David Alan Grier, Vicki Lawrence, and Leslie Jordan, who played friends at a retirement center.
