Rachael Leigh Cook & Daniel Gillies Split After 14 Years of Marriage

Rachael Leigh Cook and Daniel Gillies are separating.

The 39-year-old She’s All That actress and the 43-year-old Vampire Diaries actor both took to Instagram on Thursday (June 13) to announce that they are separating after 14 years of marriage.

“With deep gratitude for every year we have spent together and the thousands of beautiful memories shared, we have mutually decided to separate as a couple,” their statement starts.

“This decision isn’t one we have come to easily or lightly,” Rachael and Daniel continue. “We love and respect each other as parents, people and artists and look forward to maintaining the best parts of our relationship for many years to come.”

Rachael and Daniel married on August 8, 2004. They are parents to Charlotte, 5, and son Theodore, 4.
