Gwyneth Paltrow's Viral Emmys 2019 Walk Explained!

Gwyneth Paltrow‘s walk across the stage at the 2019 Emmy Awards went viral for the small and slow steps she appeared to be taking.

Now, Gwyneth‘s star-stylist Elizabeth Saltzman is explaining why her client was walking in that manner.

“That’s because in 1963 there were no back slits!,” Elizabeth explained to THR about the vintage Valentino dress that Gwyneth wore to the event. “It was not that she was having this fabulous walk, which she already has. In order to keep the dress authentic, I didn’t want to change Mr. Valentino’s design.”
