Get to Know 'Mixed-ish' Actress Arica Himmel with These 10 Fun Facts (Exclusive)

Arica Himmel is the young star of the new ABC series Mixed-ish and we caught up with her to learn some things that fans might not know!

The 14-year-old actress, who plays the young version of Tracee Ellis Ross‘ character from Black-ish, opened up to us about having a famous relative, where she wants to go to college one day, and one of her favorite movies.

• 1. I love everything beauty related! I even create my own homemade facial scrubs and blend lip gloss.
• 2. I want to attend Columbia University someday.
• 3. I know every line from Coraline. I have the book and I also have the soundtrack on my playlist. I would love to play Coraline in a live action animated film someday.
• 4. Several years before I auditioned for the role of Young Rainbow Johnson in Mixed-ish, my middle school dean Mr. Eldridge told me I resembled Tracee Ellis Ross and Diana Ross nearly every day.
• 5. I come from a musical family. My mother is a singer and my sister is a singer/actress.
