Rapper Lil Reese in Critical Condition After Getting Shot in Neck (Report)

Lil Reese has been critically wounded after being involved in a shooting.

The 26-year-old rapper was shot in the neck on Monday afternoon (October 12) 40 minutes outside of Chicago in his home state of Illinois, TMZ reports.

Cops are investigating as Reese remains hospitalized in critical condition.

According to the Country Club Hills PD, cops at the scene found a car with fresh blood in the driver’s seat and on the ground adjacent to the driver’s door.

Police also say that witnesses informed them that someone picked up a wounded man, who was identified after officers contacted area hospitals. They learned that a male suffering from a single gunshot wound to the neck was receiving treatment at South Suburban Hospital.

It is unclear what led up to the shooting.

Reese is good friends with Chief Keef. Lil Reese featured Keef in his song “Traffic.”
