Jon Voight Dances as Trump Awards Him National Medal of Arts

Jon Voight dances to the theme from Midnight Cowboy as President Donald Trump presents him with a National Medal of Arts.

The 80-year-old Ray Donovan actor attended the ceremony held in the East Room of the White House on Thursday (November 21) in Washington, D.C.

Trump referenced Jon‘s Oscar and award nominations, as well credits such as The Odessa File Deliverance, Coming Home, Pearl Harbor, and Mission Impossible, Deadline reports.

Trump also reportedly called The Champ the “very best boxing movie of all time,” adding that he found it hard to not cry during it.

“I love having you here, especially since you are someone I really like,” Donald Trump said.

Jon Voight was supported by his son James Haven.

This marked the first National Medal of Arts and Humanities Medal ceremony since 2016.
