Julia Garner Is 'The Assistant' at Sundance Film Festival 2020!
Julia Garner keeps it cool and chic in a red dress while striking a pose at a special Q&A for her film The Assistant at the IMDb Studio at Acura Festival Village on location at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival on Sunday (January 26) in Park City, Utah.
That same day, the 25-year-old Ozark actress switched up her look to join her writer-director Kitty Green at the official Sundance Film Festival premiere of The Assistant at The Marc Theatre.
In The Assistant, Julia plays a recent college graduate and aspiring film producer named Jane. It follows “one day in the life of Jane, who has recently landed her dream job as a junior assistant to a powerful entertainment mogul. Her day is much like any other assistant’s – making coffee, changing the paper in the copy machine, ordering lunch, arranging travel, taking phone messages, onboarding a new hire. But as Jane follows her daily routine, she, and we, grow increasingly aware of the abuse that insidiously colors every aspect of her work day, an accumulation of degradations against which Jane decides to take a stand, only to discover the true depth of the system into which she has entered.”
The Assistant hits theaters on January 31 – Watch the trailer here!
FYI: Julia is wearing an ALC top, J Brand trousers, Shoreditch Ski Club jacket, Stuart Weitzman shoes and Commesi socks at the premiere and a Longchamp dress with Wolford tights at IMDb.
