Rachel Bilson Jokingly Apologizes to Fans for Adam Brody Split

Rachel Bilson is jokingly apologizing to fans who still haven’t been able to get over her breakup with The O.C. co-star Adam Brody.

The actors, who played on-screen couple Summer and Seth, dated in real life and split in late 2006 after three years together.

InStyle magazine posted a throwback photo of Rachel and Adam on Instagram this week and said that their “breakup basically ruined high school for us.”

Rachel left a comment on the post and said, “IM SORRY!!!! He fared really well! 💗”

Adam is currently married to Gossip Girl actress Leighton Meester while Rachel is dating SNL album Bill Hader.
