In addition, CBS Los Angeles is reporting the same, adding, “Ventura County Sheriff’s officials are now calling the search for Naya Rivera a search and recovery effort.”
Gigi Graciette, a reporter for KTTV in Los Angeles, has also tweeted the update, adding, “Officials say search for Naya Rivera is now a “recovery” mission and she is presumed dead. Effort to find her continues at full scale. Her family has been notified and they are here,” she tweeted.
Naya went missing during a boating trip with her four-year-old son Josey at Lake Piru in California. Josey was found alone on the boat and apparently informed authorities his mom went swimming and did not come back. The sheriff’s office gave an update on how Josey is doing.
