The Emmys Will Have Presenters in Hazmat Suits Delivering Awards to Winners!

The 2020 Emmy Awards will take place this weekend and the winners will receive their trophies in a very special, and safe, way!

The producers of the show are giving us a sneak peek at the trophy presenters who may be visiting some of the winners live during the telecast on Sunday night (September 20).

People in hazmat suits will be delivering the awards to follow all of the health and safety protocols during the pandemic. ABC says that the “actual hazmat suit was created and designed by costume designer Katja Cahill and executive producer Guy Carrington, who worked with a hazmat manufacturer to create them for the show.”

Jimmy Kimmel is hosting the live event and all of the celebs will be appearing from home. This is the talk show host’s third time as the emcee for television’s biggest night.
