Maya Rudolph is now a two-time Emmy winner!

It was announced on Saturday (September 19) during night five of the 2020 Creative Arts Emmy Awards that the 49-year-old actress had won the award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series.

Maya won the award for her portrayal of Kamala Harris on Saturday Night Live.

Maya was up against herself in the category for her role on The Good Place alongside fellow nominees Wanda Sykes for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Bette Midler for The Politician, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge for Saturday Night Live.

This is the second Emmy award Maya has won this week. A few nights earlier, Maya won the award for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance for her work as Connie the Hormone Monstress on Netflix’s animated series Big Mouth.
