Patrick Mahomes Says He Doesn't Care If Baby on the Way is a Boy or Girl

Patrick Mahomes can’t wait to be a dad!

On Tuesday (September 29), the 25-year-old Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and fiancee Brittany Matthews announced that they are expecting their first child together.

The following day, Patrick appeared on local station 610 Sports Radio’s The Drive, where he said he and Brittany are “super excited” about becoming parents.

When asked if he’s hoping for a boy or a girl, Patrick said, “No, I’m just super excited to hopefully have a healthy baby and someone I’ll be able to love for the rest of my life.”

He added, “I’m just excited for the future ahead of being able to keep building and keep becoming a better person for my family and this world.”

Patrick and Brittany have been dating since they were teenagers and announced they were engaged earlier this month.
