Mindy Kaling Sets First Project Since Welcoming Second Child, Joins Star-Studded Cast In 'Lockdown'

Mindy Kaling has lined up her first project, following the news that she had welcomed her second child last month.

The 41-year-old actress has joined Lockdown, alongside Ben Kingsley, and Lucy Boynton, Deadline reports.

The project centers on a sparring couple who call a truce to attempt a high-risk, high-stakes jewelry heist at one of the world’s most exclusive department store, Harrods. The iconic London landmark granted its glamorous backdrop to the shoot.

Anne Hathaway and Chiwetel Ejiofor will play the couple with Ben Stiller, Stephen Merchant, Dule Hill, Jazmyn Simons and Mark Gatiss also starring in the project.
