Tory Lanez Pleads Not Guilty to Shooting Megan Thee Stallion
Tory Lanez is pleading not guilty.
The 28-year-old rapper, accused of shooting Megan Thee Stallion earlier this summer, entered the plea during an arraignment on Wednesday (November 18), the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced on Twitter.

He was charged with one felony count each of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, personal use of a firearm, and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle in October for a July 12 incident in the Hollywood Hills.
He is faces a “gun allegation and that he personally inflicted great bodily injury,” the DA’s office said in a press release. He is now due back in court on January 20, 2021, and if convicted as charged, could be sentenced to up to 22 years and eight months in a state prison.
