Amy Adams Reveals Which of Her Films She Still Loves to Quote!

Amy Adams is looking back on the movies she’s starred in!

While promoting her new movie Hillbilly Elegy, the 46-year-old six-time Oscar nominee talked about her cult classic movie Drop Dead Gorgeous.

The 1999 mockumentary was about the Mount Rose beauty pageant and the tragedies that happen behind the scenes. Amy starred in the movie alongside Kirsten Dunst, Kirstie Alley, Brittany Murphy, Allison Janney, and Denise Richards. It was also the first movie she ever made.

In her new interview, Amy talked about how Drop Dead Gorgeous is still popular with fans, over 20 years after it was released.

“I am constantly quoting the film so it doesn’t surprise me,” Amy explained to E! News, adding that whenever she’s dressed up she quotes the film’s iconic line, “lights, camera, action and me without a stitch of makeup.”

Amy added that she also loves the line, “She’s skinny, not deaf!” which was said by Denise‘s character Becky Ann Leeman.

“It was before its time,” Amy shared of the controversial comedy, “but I love it and I’m so proud that was my first film.”
