Joe Manganiello Teases Ben Affleck's Abandoned 'Batman' Movie: 'It Was A Really Dark Story'

Joe Manganiello has revealed new details about the Ben Affleck Batman movie that will never be.

In an interview with Yahoo Entertainment, the 43-year-old actor shared that the plot for the movie was really dark and his character of Deathstroke, was to be part of it.

“It was a really dark story in which Deathstroke was like a shark or a horror movie villain that was dismantling Bruce’s life from the inside out,” Joe recalled. “It was this systemic thing: He killed everyone close to Bruce and destroyed his life to try and make him suffer because he felt that Bruce was responsible for something that happened to him.”

He added that “it was really cool, really dark and really hard. I was excited very for it.”

While that movie will never be, Joe‘s Deathstroke is set to pop up in the upcoming Justice League Snyder Cut.
