Zack Snyder Reveals The Marvel Film He'd Love To Make

Zack Snyder is leaving the DC Universe behind after his Justice League movie debuts on HBO Max.

Now, the 54-year-old director has revealed in a new interview that, if given the opportunity, he’d love to make a movie based on the Marvel character, Elektra.

“I would choose Elektra Lives Again,” he shared via NME. “Do you know that Frank Miller comic book? It’s a graphic novel about Elektra. Daredevil is having these dreams about Elektra coming back to life, and it’s really cool and weird…it’s just cool, and beautiful. That’s what I would do. No one cares, but that’s what I would do.”

There has been an Elektra film, starring Jennifer Garner in the title role, that came out in 2005.

The Elektra Lives Again comic is a continuation of that story. No word on if he’d like Jennifer to return in the role though.

Just last week, Zack explained that after Justice League, he just doesn’t have time for more of the DC Universe.

“This is a years-old movie I’m working on,” he shared. “The DC universe has gone and branched off and done its own thing and that’s fine…as far as what I did and as far as what my vision for what I wanted to do with these characters and the journey I wanted them to go on, it’s well known that I planned on more movies — five movies or something — but I’m busy. I’ve got a lot going on.”

Here’s the latest that Zack has shared about the his upcoming Justice League movie, slated to premiere in March.
