Kyra Sedgwick Reveals The Thing That Surprised Her About Going Through Quarantine With Kevin Bacon

Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon have been married for 32 years and the couple recently opened up about the key to their long lasting coupledom.

While promoting her new show, Call Your Mother, Kyra spoke about the thing that really surprised her about their marriage while going through quarantine the past year.

“The secret to a happy marriage is that you don’t spend 24/7 together, right?” she shared with Jimmy Kimmel. “But the amazing thing is — and a surprise even to me — is that after 32 years, he always wakes up before I do in the morning. And I come downstairs during this COVID time and I’m like, ‘How did you sleep? How’s your morning been so far?’”

Kyra adds, “And I really care. I really want to know, which is surprising.”

Kevin also gushed about Kyra in another recent interview. He also chatted with ET about the key to their marriage.

“Listen, putting into any kind of words 32 years of marriage is difficult, but she is the music,” he had said. “I lucked out. Somehow I found the person that I’m meant to be with and I’ll never take that for granted.”
