Chrissy Metz Reveals How She Met Her Boyfriend, Responds to Engagement Rumors

Chrissy Metz is opening up about her relationship with boyfriend Bradley Collins and she’s also responding to speculation that they’re engaged.

The 40-year-old This Is Us actress, who is appearing on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune this week, revealed that she met Bradley on Bumble during quarantine!

While talking to Andy Cohen on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy, Chrissy revealed she was in Nashville for an extended period of time because of the pandemic.

“So it wasn’t anything I was expecting or planning, but I was like, I am kind of bored. So let me try the old Bumble. And I love the idea that like the woman gets to take the first step. I think that’s so cool, I love that. And yeah I mean of course you got to kiss a lot of frogs before you find a Prince,” Chrissy said.

“But interestingly enough, Bradley and I have all the same friends, he knows all the same songwriters, he’s in music publishing for 16 years. And so we’ve been in the same rooms, but we had never met. So I was like, well, I feel like it, you know, it was meant to be for sure,” she added.

Chrissy also was a guest on SiriusXM’s The Covino & Rich Show this week and responded to engagement rumors due to a ring she’s been wearing.

“So let’s be very clear. Let me – can I show you guys the ring? This is the ring. So Bradley bought it for me – I’m so glad that you’re clearing this up. Thank you,” Chrissy said.

She continued, “So we went crystal shopping for a friend and I also love crystals as well, but I was like, wait, this is a ring that he bought me for Christmas. But if you guys can see it, it’s a honeycomb. I’m obsessed with bees. I love bees. I’m like, who thought that this was an engagement ring, first of all?! And like, what?! So it’s just so funny that they run with it. And I’m like, it’s definitely not a slow day in the news. Let’s talk about some real stuff. Okay? About like what’s going on in our country as opposed to a ring that I might be wearing. I’m like, ‘y’all, goodness!’ Anyway, thanks for clearing it up. It’s a honeycomb ring and I love it very much, but it’s not an engagement ring.”
