The event will not be attended by the once again impeached President Trump, making him the first president since Andrew Johnson in the 1800s to do so.

Former presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton will be in attendance.

There will be performances by Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez, as well as a TV special called Celebrating America that evening, hosted by Tom Hanks and featuring performances by Justin Timberlake, Demi Lovato, Jon Bon Jovi, Ant Clemons and John Legend.

The swearing-in ceremony will happen at 12 p.m. ET, and the event will shown on all major networks. Gaga will perform the national anthem, and Jennifer will be doing a special performance, as well as a poetry reading by Amanda Gorman.

The Presidential Inaugural Committee revealed that this year’s theme is “America United”: “At a time of unprecedented crisis and deep divisions, America United reflects the beginning of a new national journey that restores the soul of America, brings the country together, and creates a path to a brighter future,” the website declares.

The Celebrating America special will air from 8:30-10 p.m. ET/PT (delayed) on the West Coast on CBS, ABC and NBC, as well as CNN and MSNBC via cable or live TV streaming.

Bruce Springsteen and Foo Fighters will also perform during the special. Eva Longoria and Kerry Washington will also introduce segments throughout the evening.

There will not be an inaugural ball due to pandemic safety concerns.
