Robin Thicke Reveals What His Relationship With Ex Paula Patton Is Like Now

Robin Thicke is opening up about his relationship status with ex-wife Paula Patton.

The -year-old musician spoke to People about how he mended his relationship with Paula after their messy break up in 2014. The two share a son together, Julian, who is 10.

“There’s so much emotion when you first break up, and there’s so much stuff that spills over,” Robin shared. “But time heals those wounds, and she’s an incredible person.”

He added, “Once you can put yourself second, your son rises to the top and you go, ‘It’s not about us anymore.’ We’re very lucky the way everything has worked out.”

Robin also admits as his musical career was lifting off, his “marriage to Paula was crumbling” and he turned to “painkillers” to help with the pain.

“It was a melting pot of trouble brewing, and I was so arrogant that I thought I could handle it all.”

Now, Robin is in a much better place with Paula as they co-parent together.

Now, he and Paula “have never been better” thanks to a solid system of “communication” and “transparency.”

“We’re co-parenting at our very best, and it shows in Julian’s results,” he shared. “He’s thriving and has really blossomed this last year. He’s so devoted to school. He’s the opposite of me: I was the class clown in the back row. He’s in the front of class and loves going to school.”

Robin has been with girlfriend April Love Geary since 2017 and they have three children together.
