Sarah Michelle Gellar Releases Brief Statement on Joss Whedon Amid 'Buffy' Misconduct Allegations

Sarah Michelle Gellar has released a brief statement after her former co-star, Charisma Carpenter, accused Joss Whedon of misconduct on the set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel.

Among many allegations, Charisma said he “callously” called her “‘fat’ to colleagues when I was 4 months pregnant, weighing 126 lbs. Now, Charisma‘s former Buffy co-star, Sarah Michelle, is speaking out on her Instagram Story.

“While I am proud to have my name associated with Buffy Summers, I don’t want to be forever associated with the name Joss Whedon,” Sarah Michelle began her statement.
