Vanessa Bryant Calls Out Meek Mill for His Offensive Lyrics About Kobe

Vanessa Bryant is speaking out in response to Meek Mill‘s lyrics about her late husband Kobe in an unreleased song that has leaked online.

The alleged Meek Mill song, which is reportedly a collaboration with Lil Baby, is titled “Don’t Worry (RIP Kobe).” In the song, the rapper says, “Yeah, and if I ever lack, I’m goin’ out with my chopper, it be another Kobe.”

Kobe died in January 2020 in a helicopter crash along with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven other people.

Vanessa took to her Instagram Stories on Monday night (February 22) to express her thoughts on the lyrics.

She wrote, “Dear @meekmill, I find this line to be extremely insensitive and disrespectful. Period. I am not familiar with any of your music, but I believe you can do better that this. If you are a fan, fine, there’s a better way to show your admiration for my husband. This lacks respect and tact.”
