The Asian-Australian singer-songwriter (real name Deena Lynch) just arrived with her latest single “Curled In,” a jagged anthem co-written and co-produced with bassist Aidan Hogg.

I bought my ticket so early and when I got there I realised that I completely ruined a group of travelling Siberian women’s party as I was situated right in the middle of the entire row which they occupied. They didn’t speak a lick of English either so we couldn’t talk but they definitely talked all over me. It was awkward. Anyway, when Céline sang this one sad song, I suddenly realised we were all holding hands in a row and crying together. In that moment, it didn’t matter that we were all foreigners because we all spoke Céline.
