Lady Gaga's Dogs Have Been Safely Recovered, Reps Confirm

Lady Gaga‘s dogs have been safely recovered!

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to the Associated Press that a woman brought the two dogs, Koji and Gustav, to the LAPD’s Olympic Community Police Station.

The detectives on the case and a representative for Gaga went to the station and confirmed that they were her dogs. Gaga is still in Rome, Italy, where she is working on an upcoming movie.

The police confirmed that the dogs were unharmed and the woman who turned them in appears to be “uninvolved and unassociated” with the attack on Wednesday night. It’s not yet known how she obtained the dogs.

Gaga‘s dog walker Ryan Fischer was attacked by two men earlier this week. Video surveillance footage showed the attackers pulling up next to him in Hollywood and demanding he hand over the dogs. One of the attackers pulled out a gun and shot Ryan in the chest before fleeing with two of the dogs. The third dog escaped and was later recovered.

Read the statement that Gaga released earlier today, pleading for the safe return of her dogs and thanking Ryan for being a hero.
