Drake Raps About Parenting Duties in New Song 'Lemon Pepper Freestyle'

Drake is getting personal about being a dad in his new song!

The 34-year-old dropped a new EP on Friday (March 5) called Scary Hours 2, which features three new songs. On the Rick Ross collaboration “Lemon Pepper Freestyle,” the rapper opened up about parenting his three-year-old son Adonis.

“Yeah, dropped him off at school, big day for my lil’ man / Recess hits, daddy prolly made another M / School bell rings and I’m out there to get him again,” Drake raps. “Yeah, teacher-parent meetings, wives get googly-eyed / Regardless of what they husbands do to provide / Askin’ if I know Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj.”

The performer first introduced fans to his son in March of last year, sharing photos of himself with Adonis‘ mom Sophia Brussaux.

Drake also talked about drawing attention when taking his son to French immersion school, rapping, “Of course, pull up to the front in the fleet of Suburbans / Flooded French Immersion with the Secret Service/ S—t is so obvious, it defeats the purpose.”
