George Clooney Works With Ben Affleck on 'Tender Bar' Set in Boston

George Clooney leans back on a car while gearing up to film a few scenes on The Tender Bar on Tuesday afternoon (March 9) in Boston, Mass.

The 59-year-old actor was seen chatting with stars Tye Sheridan and Ben Affleck as they got ready to shoot a scene with Lily Rabe, who wore a camel color coat to keep warm.

The Tender Bar is an adaption of the memoir of the same name by Pulitzer Prize-winning author and film subject J.R. Moehringer, who will serve as an executive producer on the movie, and “recounts Moehringer’s adolescent years, as he grows up on Long Island in search of a father figure among the patrons at his uncle’s bar.”

George is directing the pic and it’s unclear if he’ll make an appearance in the movie at all yet.

Over the weekend, Ben, Tye and Lily were seen filming on the streets of Boston, while George was seen over on the Lesley University campus.
