Celebrities React to Georgia Shootings: #StopAsianHate
Eight lives were lost in a senseless shooting in Georgia on Tuesday night (March 16) with at least six of the victims being identified as Asian women. The shootings took place across Atlanta-area massage parlors.
The suspect, 21-year-old suspect Robert Aaron Long, is in police custody. There has not been a motive released at this time, however, there has been a rise in hate crimes against the Asian community in the United States. The hashtag, #StopAsianHate, has been going viral to help bring awareness to these repeated tragedies.
Celebrities are taking to social media to react to this devastating mass shooting.
Our continued thoughts are with all those impacted by this senseless act of violence. Stop Asian hate.
