Angelina Jolie Opens Up About Why She's Taking On More Screen Roles
Angelina Jolie is opening up about her career and the main reason for her getting in front of the camera once again.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the 45-year-old explained that while directing is still a passion of hers, she stepped back in front of the camera because of “a change in my family situation.”
Angelina shared, “I love directing, but I had a change in my family situation that’s not made it possible for me to direct for a few years.”
“I needed to just do shorter jobs and be home more, so I kind of went back to doing a few acting jobs. That’s really the truth of it,” she added about the on-screen roles which include upcoming drama Those Who Wish Me Dead and Marvel’s The Eternals.
Angelina has been going through a divorce and custody battles with Brad Pitt for five years.
Last month, their son, Maddox, reportedly testified against Brad.
