Melissa McCarthy Shares The Empowering Note She Wrote To Herself Years Ago

Melissa McCarthy is looking back on the advice she once gave herself by sharing an old letter she once wrote.

The 50-year-old actress posted the letter to her Instagram so her fans could see that the advice still stands true today.

The letter held some important advice for then, and for today as well.

The first note was that “In 10 years you will NOT remember his name”, followed by “For the love of God – buy both pairs of shoes.”

Melissa also wrote that a “walk of shame can be character building”, to “Call Mom” and two of the most important ones, “Just eat the damn cookie!!” and “Go All In!”

Melissa‘s most recent movie, Thunder Force, just debuted on Netflix, and was directed by her husband, Ben Falcone.
