Liam Payne & Maya Henry Split, End Engagement: 'I Feel Better Out of It'

Liam Payne confirms he and Maya Henry have broken up.

The 27-year-old One Directioner and 21-year-old model have been engaged since August 2020, but he just confirmed they have gone their separate ways.

While speaking with Steven Bartlett on The Diary Of A CEO on YouTube, Liam explained he is “indeed” single. He added that he’s “disappointed” in himself for how things have ended with his exes.

“I’ve just not been very good at relationships,” Liam said. “I know what my pattern is with relationships at this point. I’m just not very good at them. I need to work on myself first before I put myself onto somebody else.”

He then continued, “I just wasn’t giving a very good version of me and I didn’t appreciate or like me. I feel better out of it. I didn’t feel good for doing what I did, but it had to happen. It was what’s best for both of us.”
