Liam Neeson Reveals If He'll Be Appearing in Disney+'s 'Obi Wan Kenobi' Series

Liam Neeson is addressing all the rumors surrounding his possible return to the Star Wars world!

During an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the 69-year-old actor was addressed speculation that he would be returning for the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series starring Ewan McGregor, which is currently in production at Disney+.

“I heard Ewan McGregor was gonna do a series,” Liam said. “No, I don’t think so. No, I haven’t been approached.”

If you didn’t know, Liam played Qui-Gon Jinn, the Jedi master to Ewan‘s Obi-Wan, in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. At the end of the movie, his character was killed by Darth Maul.

also joked that Disney couldn’t afford him, adding, “They don’t have enough money.”

Back in March, Disney+ announced the Obi-Wan spinoff series with Ewan returning as the titular character and Hayden Christensen reprising his role as Darth Vader! You can find out more about the series here.
