Queen Elizabeth's Grandson Peter Phillips Finalizes Divorce From Autumn Phillips

Queen Elizabeth II‘s eldest grandchild, Peter Phillips, has finalized his divorce from Autumn Phillips.

Peter, who is Princess Anne‘s son, and Autumn announced their separation just a few months ago and in a decision from the High Court today (June 14), their divorce is official.

“Whilst this is a sad day for Peter and Autumn, they continue to put the wellbeing and upbringing of their wonderful daughters Savannah and Isla first and foremost,” a rep for the couple shared in a statement following the ruling. “Both Peter and Autumn are pleased to have resolved matters amicably with the children firmly at the forefront of those thoughts and decisions.”

Their reps added, “Peter & Autumn have requested privacy and consideration for their children as the family adapts to a new chapter in their lives.”

Peter and Autumn met in 2003 and wed five years later at Windsor Castle in 2008.

The couple share two daughters, Savannah, 10, and Isla, 9.

Most recently, Peter and Autumn were seen together at the 2020 Cheltenham Festival in March.
