'Manifest' Canceled by NBC After Three Seasons, Decision Made at Last Possible Hour

We have some sad news to report about the NBC series Manifest.

The network has reportedly decided to cancel the series after three seasons and the decision came down to the last possible hour.

Manifest was one of a four NBC shows that were on the “bubble” and the network kept fans waiting for weeks to find out if they’d be renewed. Debris and Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist were both canceled and now Manifest has been as well. We’re still waiting on a decision about Good Girls, but that show is “looking good for renewal,” according to Deadline.

The network made the decision to cancel the show with “just hours before the options on the cast were to expire Tuesday.”

Deadline is reporting that WBTV, the studio behind Manifest, is expected to look for a new home for the series.

The first two seasons of the show began streaming on Netflix last week and the show has been at #1 on the overall streaming chart for days. This definitely bodes well for the show’s chance at finding a new home.

Manifest stars Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, Athena Karkanis, J.R. Ramirez, Luna Blaise, Jack Messina, Parveen Kaur, Matt Long and Holly Taylor.
