Disney+ Is Switching Up It's Original Series Premiere Schedule!

Disney+ is making a big change to when it premieres original series and new episodes!

The streaming service will no longer be premiering it’s new shows on Fridays, like it has since it’s launch in November 2019.

New series will now premiere on Wednesdays, just as Loki did when it premiered on Disney+, which was also the biggest premiere for the streamer.

The new premiere schedule is only for Disney+ original series, and movie premieres will still bow on Fridays.

Current shows like High School Musical: The Musical: The Series that premiered on a Friday, will continue to air new episodes each Friday.

Upcoming shows that have had their premiere dates moved to Wednesday include Turner & Hooch, Monsters at Work, Behind The Attraction and Chip ‘n’ Dale: Park Life.

Monsters at Work – From July 2 to July 7
Turner & Hooch – From July 16 to July 21
Behind the Attraction – From July 16 to July 21
Chip ‘n’ Dale: Park Life – From July 23 to July 28
Turning the Tables with Robin Roberts – From July 30 to July 28
The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse Batch 2 – From July 30 to July 28
Growing Up Animal – From August 20 to August 18
Short Circuit Season Two – From July 30 to August 4
