'The Book of Mormon' Sets November Broadway Return With Potential Changes To Show

The Book of Mormon is the latest Broadway show to announce it’s return to the Great White Way!

The hit Tony award-winning musical has set it’s eyes to resume performances at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre on Friday, November 5th.

No casting announcements have been made at this time.

After receiving a letter from 20 original and recent Broadway cast members asking the writers and producers to reevaluate parts of the musical, the show’s writers will begin rehearsals in the fall and have agreed to discuss and “possibly adjust elements of the show deemed racially problematic,” according to Deadline.

The potential changes would also apply to the West End and UK touring productions, which will return on November 12th (West End) and October 12th (tour).

Tickets for The Book of Mormon will go on sale on June 28th.
