Harris Dickinson and Barry Keoghan hit the red carpet at the 2018 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday afternoon (March 3) in Santa Monica, Calif.

Harris was joined at the show by his longtime girlfriend Rose Gray while Barry was accompanied by his girlfriend Shona Guerin.

Both of the guys were nominated for awards and you should definitely keep an eye out for them in the future.

Harris was up for Best Male Lead for his work in the indie film Beach Rats. He is starring in the upcoming FX series Trust and will be seen in the upcoming movies Postcards from London and The Darkest Minds.

Barry was nominated for Best Supporting Male for The Killing of a Sacred Deer. You might remember him from Dunkirk and he will soon be seen in the Sundance hit American Animals.

Andy Samberg brings the fun to the 2018 Independent Spirit Awards!

The 39-year-old SNL alum hit the stage on Saturday afternoon (March 3) dressed as John Bender from The Breakfast Club to beg the actors in attendance not to sell out to the magic of Hollywood.

“Don’t you forget about us, Saoirse don’t leave, don’t put your face upon a bus,” Andy sang to the tune of “Don’t You Forget about Me.” “Timothée Chalamet, if you stay indie, we’ll pronounce it the pretentious way. Jordan and Kumail don’t go and fall for the seductive dancin’ of the studios.”

Andy went on to call out a couple of the actors who traded independent movies for a more glamorous life in Hollywood.

“Back away, Avengers,” Andy sang. “You took ScarJo, you took Favreau — Just ask Robert, can’t live Twilight down down down.”

Frances McDormand appears on stage to accept her award at the 2018 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday afternoon (March 3) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The actress won the award for Best Female Lead for her work in the movie Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

Frances opened up about the “beach party” she remembers the Spirit Awards as years ago. She then imagined what it could be like today if the show really was a beach party that you could attend in pajamas and slippers, the exact outfit she happened to be wearing.

“And then, just think how much money we would have left over to make independent films,” Frances said to conclude her speech.

Frances is expected to take home the Oscar tomorrow night as well!

Timothee Chalamet accepts his award for Best Male Lead on stage at the 2018 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday afternoon (March 3) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 22-year-old actor received the award for his work in the movie Call Me By Your Name. He beat out Get Out‘s Daniel Kaluuya, Beach Rats‘ Harris Dickinson, The Disaster Artist‘s James Franco, and Good Time‘s Robert Pattinson.

During his speech, Timothee responded to a joke made at the top of the show about his outfit looking like something a gas station attendant would wear. Then he advocated for the continuation of independent films and said he would always continue to be a part of them.

“I’m trying to really savor this moment. I don’t know if this thing’s ever really going to happen again,” he said. “I hope it doesn’t sound cheesy when I say it, but I have a lot of faith. I have a lot of faith in this industry. I have a lot of faith in our country. I have faith because of Greta Gerwig and Luca Guadagnino and Josh Safdie and Jordan Peele and Daniel Kaluuya and filmmakers that aren’t here. … We’ve got a whole new wave. We’re going to be good. … Thank God we have the Dee Reeses and everybody.”

Timothee is nominated for Best Actor at the Oscars tomorrow!

Joseph Gordon-Levitt looks handsome on the blue carpet as he arrives at the 2018 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday afternoon (March 3) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 37-year-old actor went dapper in a black suit as he stepped out to attend the awards show honoring independent movies.

The best in independent film was recognized during the 2018 Film Independent Spirit Awards and you can check out the full winners list here!

The big winner of the night was Get Out, which took home the awards for Best Feature and Best Director for Jordan Peele.

This marked the first time that a horror film won the award for Best Feature at the Spirit Awards.

Kristen Wiig appears on stage in costume as 110-year-old “film legend” Fay Fontaine at the 2018 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday afternoon (March 3) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 44-year-old actress, who seemingly was poking fun at Faye Dunaway‘s mishap at last year’s Oscars, had to walk off the stage and closer to the teleprompter to read the script at one point.

When Elizabeth Olsen and Robert Pattinson came on stage to present the next award, “Fay” continued to walk around the stage and even was back there while they were reading the winner!
