Oh no! Selena Gomez reportedly suffered a panic attack before stepping on stage for her performance at the 2019 American Music Awards this weekend.

The 27-year-old singer performed her two new singles to open the show and she put “a lot of pressure” on herself ahead of her first live TV performance in two years.

“Selena definitely had anxiety and a panic attack before she went out and was putting a lot of pressure on herself,” a source shared with E! News.

Another source told People, “She definitely had a panic attack. She was nervous. She hasn’t been on stage in two years, and it’s an important song in her career. She really wanted to deliver.”

Selena has been very open with her struggles with anxiety in the recent past.

After the opening performance though, Selena headed to Instagram to thank her fans for sticking by her side and supporting her in the toughest of times.

“Feels good to be back. Thank you to my entire team and to my fans that stand by me,” she wrote. “All of this is for you and because of you. excited for this chapter #sg2 @amas 💚.”

Shawn Mendes is praising his girlfriend Camila Cabello after they won an award together at the 2019 American Music Awards on Sunday (November 24) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

The couple took home the award for Collaboration of the Year for their song “Senorita” and they also gave a steamy performance of it during the show.

After the show, Shawn took to Instagram to thank fans for the award and also send his praises to his collaborator.

“@amas thank you everyone thank you so much!! ❤️ also @camila_cabello i admire you so much you unbelievable human being thank you for being you ❤️❤️ we love u guys,” he captioned the below photo of them on stage together.

The 24-year-old rapper hit the stage for a performance during the awards show on Sunday night (November 24) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Post first started off his performance while singing his latest hit “Circles.”

Later on, Post was joined on stage by Ozzy Osbourne and Travis Scott for a flame-filled performance of their collab “Take What You Want.”

Dua Lipa is bringing the disco – and the BALLOONS – to LA!

The 24-year-old pop superstar performed at the 2019 American Music Awards on Sunday (November 24) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

During the performance, tons of balloons rained down into the audience. When the next award was given out, the balloons were still everywhere!

Earlier in the night, Dua made her red carpet debut with her boyfriend Anwar Hadid.

“Don’t Start Now” is the lead single from Dua‘s highly anticipated follow-up to her self-titled debut. The song became a Top 10 hit in many countries around the world, and is a Top 30 hit on the Billboard Hot 100.

Taylor Swift brought out the surprises for fans during her Artist of the Decade performance at the 2019 American Music Awards on Sunday (November 24) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

The 29-year-old singer performed a medley of her greatest hits during the awards show to celebrate being named the Artist of the Decade.

Taylor kicked off the set with her Lover album song “The Man” while wearing a shirt featuring the names of her first six albums. She then shed the shirt and effectively shed her former record label away in a nod to the feud she’s in with them.

The superstar then performed “Love Story,” “I Knew You Were Trouble,” “Blank Space,” “Shake It Off” with special guests Camila Cabello and Halsey, and finally “Lover.”

While she sang “Lover,” the title track from her new album, ballet dancers Misty Copeland and Craig Hall did a dance performance!

The 54-year-old country popstar closed the awards show on Sunday night (November 24) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
