Juliette Binoche Says Harvey Weinstein 'Has Had Enough, Justice Has To Do Its Work'

Juliette Binoche thinks disgraced movie producer Harvey Weinstein has “had enough.”

While speaking at the opening press conference for the 2019 Berlin Film Festival at Grand Hyatt Hotel on Thursday (February 7), where she is heading the jury, the 54-year-old actress expressed that she had encountered no problems in her long relationship with the producer, who has been accused of multiple counts of sexual assault.

“I never had problems with him,” Juliette said (via THR). “I could see he had problems, but as a producer he was wonderful, most of the time. I think he was a great producer, and that we shouldn’t forget even though I know it was difficult for directors and actors, and especially actresses.”

“I almost want to say peace to his mind and heart, that’s all,” Juliette added. “I’m trying to put my feet in his shoes. He’s had enough, I think. A lot of people have expressed themselves. Now justice has to do its work.”

Juliette was joined by her fellow jury members Rajendra Roy, Trudie Styler, Sebastian Lelio, Sandra Hueller and Justin Chang at the press conference.
