Halle Berry Teases Cameo In BET's New 'Boomerang' Series!

Halle Berry happily hits the red carpet alongside Lena Waithe while attending the premiere of their new BET series Boomerang held at the Wolf Theatre on Monday (February 11) in North Hollywood, Calif.

That same day, the 52-year-old actress and the 34-year-old writer-producer hit the stage during the BET segment of the 2019 Winter TCA Press Tour at The Langham Huntington to represent the show with it’s stars: Dime Davis, Tetona Jackson, Tequan Richmond, Leland Martin, Brittany Inge, RJ Walker and Lala Milan.

Halle and Lena serve as executive producers of the remake of the 1992 movie, in which Berry starred alongside Eddie Murphy. “You might see me at some point. I can’t speak for anybody else in the cast, I can only speak for myself,” Halle expressed at the event (via EW). “I am so proud of this show, and you might see me. You might see me, for sure.”

“I haven’t spoken to anyone from the original show. Lena came to me — it was her passion and she just said, ‘I gotta do this and I want to team up with you. I have to bring a modern version of this story to our people. Please do this for me,’” Halle continued. “Lena came to me with her heart, her passion, and a real desire to do it. And I said yes before really knowing how any of my other costars felt.”

FYI: Halle is wearing an Elie Saab dress and Le Silla shoes at the premiere. She is wearing a Ports 1961 suit, Le Silla shoes, and Awe Inspired coin necklaces at the panel.

Elizabeth Banks & Aidy Bryant Talk 'Shrill' at TCA Tour 2019!

Elizabeth Banks is sharing her new series Shrill!

The 45-year-old executive producer stepped out for Hulu’s panel during the 2019 Winter TCA Tour on Monday (February 11) in Pasadena, Calif.

She was joined by the show’s star Aidy Bryant as they discussed the upcoming show, based on Lindy West‘s book Shrill: Notes from a Loud Woman.

The series follows an overweight young woman who seeks change in her life but not in her body.

“I hope it doesn’t surprise anyone, I’m not always comfortable in my own skin either, and I remember when I first came to Hollywood. My very first meeting in Hollywood was with an agent who told me I should get a boob job — and I left the meeting,” Elizabeth said during the panel.

Elizabeth and Aidy were also joined by the rest of the cast including Lolly Adefope, Ian Owens, John Cameron Mitchell and Luka Jones.

Shrill premieres on March 15th on Hulu.

Jodie Comer & Sandra Oh Open Up About Season 2 of 'Killing Eve'

Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer are opening up about Season 2 of their hit show, Killing Eve.

The two co-stars joined executive producer/writer Emerald Fennel, Fiona Shaw and executive producer Sally Woodward-Gentle at the 2019 Winter TCA Press Tour on Saturday (February 9) in Pasadena, Calif.

During the panel, Sandra and Jodie opened up about the shocking end of the show’s first season (warning – spoilers ahead!) and what to expect from the next season, which premieres in April.

“I think what is most interesting about Eve stabbing Villanelle at the end of series one is Villanelle’s reaction to that and how she perceives that. I think it affects them and changes them in a way that neither of them are quite expecting,” Jodie explained.

“You see them [both] vulnerable in slightly different ways. Because they’ve crossed a line and there’s kind of no going back. We have a lot of energy at the beginning of the series that pushes both them into a different place of vulnerability,” added Sandra.

Season 2 will also introduce a new assassin.

“Suddenly there’s someone between them for the first time,” teased Emerald.

Zachary Quinto Opens Up About His Eerie 'NOS4A2' Character!

Zachary Quinto is opening up about his NOS4A2 villain, Charlie Manx!

The 41-year-old actor appeared on the panel to discuss his new series during the AMC segment of the 2019 Winter TCA Press Tour at The Langham Huntington on Saturday (February 9) in Pasadena, Calif.

PHOTOS: Check out the latest pics of Zachary Quinto

Zachary’s villain character is very into Christmas, and he’s even created a place called Christmasland where he delivers the remains of children whose souls he feeds off.

“It’s a place that Manx has created with an actual deep belief that it’s a destination of joy. He genuinely believes that he’s giving [the children] a better life, which is obviously really f—ed up,” he explained.

“[Manx] was exposed to really unspeakable trauma and violence and horror as a child. The reality is that he never confronted that within himself or processed it or examined it, and so it evolved into this exploitation of these young and innocent souls as he got older.”

NOS4A2 is based on the novel of the same name by Joe Hill, the son of Stephen King. In the book and on the show, “NOS4A2” is the license plate on his character’s 1938 Rolls-Royce Wraith.

Nicole Kidman & 'Big Little Lies' Cast Have No Plans For a Third Season

The ladies of Big Little Lies reunited for the 2019 Winter TCA Tour!

The cast – Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Zoe Kravitz, Laura Dern, Meryl Streep and Shailene Woodley – stepped out for a panel discussion on Friday (February 8) at Langham Hotel in Pasadena, Calif.

They were also joined by the show’s producer David E. Kelley, who revealed that they don’t have plans to return for a third season.

“There is no such plan now. We like our closure at the end of season two, so that will probably be it,” David explained.

Reese quickly added, “You sat here and said that last time!”

But Nicole, who is also an executive producer, echoed David‘s thoughts.

“There’s no plan. This was a long shoot for us and an enormous amount of work. I will say not to compare it to the first one because artistically it’s a wonderful thing and it is its own entity. It was made with an enormous amount of love,” Nicole said.
