The 30-year-old actor looked sharp in a brown suit as he attended the pre-Golden Globes party.

Also in attendance at the party was Taron‘s Rocketman director Dexter Fletcher and songwriter Bernie Taupin.

Later in the night, Taron, Dexter, and Bernie joined Elton John at a screening of Rocketman.

The 42-year-old actor took to his Instagram that afternoon to rave about Golden Globe nominee Cynthia Erivo‘s performance of “Imagine” at the event.

“This song, sung by @cynthiaerivo, who I think is one of the most talented artists on the planet right now, was a highlight for me. It’s good to keep in mind John Lennon’s lyrics in a 2020 that already has a lot going on,” Matt wrote on Instagram.
