Comedian Kate Berlant Brings Out Star-Studded Crowd for L.A. Opening of One-Woman Play, Including Olivia Wilde & Brie Larson!

Kate Berlant had the support of many celeb friends at the opening night performance of her one-woman play Kate!

An L.A. crowd including Olivia Wilde and Brie Larson stepped out to attend the performance on Sunday night (January 21) at the Pasadena Playhouse in Pasadena, Calif.

Tatiana Maslany, Billy Eichner, Molly Shannon, Martha Plimpton, John C. Reilly and wife Alison Dickey, Kumail Nanjiani and wife Emily V. Gordon, Vanessa Bayer, D’Arcy Carden, Zoe Lister-Jones, cute couple Abbi Jacobson and Jodi Balfour, Bob Odenkirk, Lionel Boyce, Natasha Leggero, Chelsea Peretti, Timothy Simons, and Cazzie David were among the stars there.

Brie (who attended with a new rumored boyfriend) and Maya Rudolph aren’t pictured, but were both in attendance.

In the play, which previously had a sold-out run in New York, Kate explores the events of her life that have brought her to this moment. Embodying many characters in this tour de force performance, she expertly morphs before our eyes and exposes a truth she has, until now, kept hidden. The show is running through February 11. Abbi Jacobson, Teyonah Parris, Linda Cardellini, & More Join Cast of Netflix's 'No Good Deed'

A number of stars are joining the cast of Netflix‘s No Good Deed!

Created by Liz Feldman, No Good Deed is a “dark comedy series that, over eight half-hour episodes, follows three very different families vying to buy the very same 1920s Spanish-style villa that they think will solve all their problems. But as the sellers have already discovered, sometimes the home of your dreams can be a total nightmare,” per the show’s official logline.

Emmy-winner Ray Romano was previously revealed to star in No Good Deed. The streaming platform also confirmed that Emmy-winner and Friends alum Lisa Kudrow will appear in the upcoming series.

On Friday (December 15), additional cast members were announced!

Rachel Zegler and boyfriend Josh Andres Rivera joined Kelsea Ballerini and boyfriend Chase Stokes at the 2023 Time100 Next held at Second Floor on Tuesday evening (October 24) in New York City.

In a new interview, Kelsea opened up about her divorce and finding love again with Chase.

Abbi Jacobson Calls Out Prime Video For Blaming The Strikes As The Reason For 'A League of Their Own' Cancellation

Abbi Jacobson has made her first comments about A League of Their Own being cancelled again.

If you didn’t see, Prime Video reversed its decision on the series, and re-cancelled the short four episode season two that had been planned.

According to reports, the streaming network did cite the strikes as the reason for the cancellation, and Abbi is calling them out on it.

Christina Aguilera, Bad Bunny & Jennifer Coolidge Win Big at GLAAD Awards 2023

Christina Aguilera, Bad Bunny and Jennifer Coolidge picked up wins at the 2023 GLAAD Media Awards, which were hosted at the The Beverly Hilton on Thursday evening (March 30) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

We already knew that the “Dirrty” diva and Un Verano Sin Ti hitmaker were set to be recognized at the ceremony. Christina was awarded GLAAD’s Advocate for Change Award and Bad Bunny received the Vanguard Award.

Jennifer, who didn’t walk the red carpet, was a surprise appearance. She was honored with GLAAD’s Social Impact Award when she appeared onstage at the start of the show.

The Hollywood Reporter's Emmy Party Was a Star-Studded Event - See the Celebs in Attendance!

The stars are stepping out during Emmys Weekend!

Andrew Garfield, Rachel Zegler, and Hayden Panettiere were among the many stars in attendance at The Hollywood Reporter’s Emmy Party on Saturday night (September 10) in Los Angeles.

Stars from Emmy-nominated shows including Abbott Elementary, Hacks, Ted Lasso, Yellowjackets, and Severance were also in attendance at the party. Nominees and guests alike sipped on specialty Casamigos cocktails including a Grapefruit Rosemary Paloma and a Spicy Cucumber Jalapeno Margarita.

Abbi Jacobson Reveals How Penny Marshall Felt About the 'A League of Their Own' Series

Abbi Jacobson revealed that the reboot of A League of Their Own got the late Penny Marshall‘s blessing.

The 38-year-old actress said she had an important conversation with Penny, the director of the original A League of Their Own. “[Co-creator Will Graham] and I got a chance to talk to Penny Marshall on the phone,” she told People. “It was really close to when she passed away, and we told her our whole idea and asked her a lot of questions about the film and she was just like, ‘Well, go do it already. Do it.’ She was excited about us doing it.”
