Netflix has finally revealed the release date for The Umbrella Academy‘s fourth and final season!
The streamer also released character posters for the main cast, including Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, Ritu Arya, and Colm Feore.

There’s some bittersweet news for fans of The Umbrella Academy on Netflix.
The show has been renewed for a fourth season, but unfortunately, it will be the show’s last.
“I’m so excited that the incredibly loyal fans of The Umbrella Academy will be able to experience the fitting end to the Hargreeves siblings’ journey we began five years ago,” showrunner Steve Blackman said in a statement. “But before we get to that conclusion, we’ve got an amazing story ahead for season four, one that will have fans on the edge of their seats until the final minutes.”

Tom Hopper towers above his cast mates at the season three premiere ofThe Umbrella Academy held at The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills on Friday (June 17) in West Hollywood, Calif.
Robert Sheehan, Ritu Arya, David Castaneda, Justin H. Min, and Aidan Gallagher hit the red carpet with Tom, along with Genesis Rodriguez, Britne Oldford, Cazzie David, Jordan Claire Robbins, Jake Epstein, Javon Walton, and David Castaneda.
Ken Hall, Justin Cornwell, Steve Blackman, Jeff F. King, and Ted Biaselli were also spotted at the big premiere.
The upcoming season three will focus on the Hargreeves children being pitted up against an alternate team of heroes known as the Sparrow Academy.

Six cast members from The Umbrella Academy – one of Netflix‘s biggest hits, have banded together to earn pay raises for the upcoming third season.
Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, and Justin Min were the cast members that approached higher-ups together and will now earn over $200,000 per episode.
You may be wondering why the show’s star, Elliot Page, is not listed among his cast members. Variety reports that Elliot also received a pay increase but was not involved with the group’s decision to go in together. Elliot was paid a higher rate to begin with because of his star power before the show debuted. The source added that Elliot was “supportive of the group’s effort.”

Here’s a synopsis of season one: On the same day in 1989, forty-three infants are inexplicably born to random, unconnected women who showed no signs of pregnancy the day before. Seven are adopted by Sir Reginald Hargreeves, a billionaire industrialist, who creates The Umbrella Academy and prepares his “children” to save the world. But not everything went according to plan. In their teenage years, the family fractured and the team disbanded. Now, the six surviving thirty-something members reunite upon the news of Hargreeve’s passing. Luther, Diego, Allison, Klaus, Vanya and Number Five work together to solve a mystery surrounding their father’s death. But the estranged family once again begins to come apart due to their divergent personalities and abilities, not to mention the imminent threat of a global apocalypse.
