Robin Thicke is remembering his late dad Alan Thicke.

The 43-year-old Masked Singer judge took to his Instagram on Sunday (December 13) to honor his dad on the four-year anniversary of his death.

“Four years ago today, on December 13, 2016, my beloved Father passed away. As I wake up next to this little guy his first night home, I miss my father so much, but I feel his love in my heart every time I kiss my babies on the head the same way he would kiss me,” Robin wrote while sharing a photo in bed with two-day old son Luca.

“I’m crying a little right now. Partly because I’m sad you’re not here, but mostly because I’m happy that I had you to love me, guide me, and show me the way,” Robin added. “I hope I make you proud. I miss you every day. Thank you Dad.”

Robin and fiancee April Love Geary welcomed Luca, their third child together, on Friday. They are also parents to daughters Mia, 2, and Lola, 20 months. He also has a 10-year-old son named Julien from his marriage to Paula Patton.

Alan died suddenly on December 13, 2016 from a heart attack while playing hockey with his son Carter.

Robin Thicke just shared a very special moment with his children.

The 41-year-old musician brought his daughter Mia and son Julian to visit his late father Alan‘s grave site.

Robin took to his Instagram to document the somber moment, as the family remembered Alan, who passed away suddenly in 2016.

“Went to visit Grandpa. Count your blessings!” Robin captioned the image.

Robin and his family have also been documenting their experience with the California wildfires, which forced them to evacuate their home that same day.

Robin Thicke and his brother Brennan are taking their dad Alan Thicke‘s widow Tanya Callau to court after she claimed the prenuptial agreement she signed before her marriage is invalid.

Tanya is allegedly trying to get a bigger piece of Alan‘s estate than she is entitled to, per the agreement, and Robin and Brennan are trying to stop that from happening.

Alan left each of his three sons “(in equal shares): ownership of the Carpinteria, California ranch that he bought in 1989 and desired to keep in his family forever (the “Ranch”), 75 percent of his personal effects, and 60 percent of his remaining estate,” according People.

Tanya was left with “all of the Ranch’s furnishings, 25 percent of his personal effects, a $500,000 life insurance policy, all of his death benefits from pensions and union memberships … and 40 percent share of his remaining estate. Alan also provided that Tanya may live in the Ranch after his death so long as she maintains the property and expenses.”

Now months after Alan‘s death, Tanya claims the agreement is invalid.

Alan Thicke‘s family is remembering the late actor on what would have been his 70th birthday.

Alan‘s wife Tanya Thicke took to Instagram to share a sweet picture and message for her late husband on his birthday.

“Happy Birthday to my angel #2016 joint birthday celebration, they say 2 Pisces are internal soulmates You are so missed my love……” Tanya captioned the below pic.

Alan and Tanya‘s 19-year-old son Carter also shared a throwback picture of himself with his dad where he said he hopes Alan is enjoying his “birthday margarita and rhubarb pie.”

Alan passed away back in December of last year after he suffered a heart attack while playing hockey with Carter.

Carter Thicke, the youngest child of the late Alan Thicke, is opening up about the death of his father and their final moments together.

The Growing Pains actor died on December 13 after he collapsed at an ice skating rink while playing hockey with Carter.

“The ambulance came and the paramedics had stabilized him and everything seemed fine,” Carter told ET about how he thought his father would pull through. “That was brutal.”

“I got to give him a hug and said, ‘I love you,’ and that was the last time I saw him,” he added about their final moments together. “He was like the perfect dad.”

After Alan Thicke sadly passed away last week at the age of 69 due to a ruptured aorta, his family, friends, and fans have been sharing their heartfelt tributes.

Now, Joanna Kerns, the late actor’s on-screen wife in his iconic series Growing Pains, is opening up about the first time she met Alan and what he has taught her.

“I met Alan for the first time as we walked down the long hallway at ABC to audition for Growing Pains,” Joanna told Entertainment Weekly. “We were in similar places. My first marriage was falling apart, and he was in the middle of a divorce. We both had young kids, both had recently canceled shows, so we needed this one to work.”

“We talked as we walked,” she went on. “He made me laugh. A little flirting was going on, as it always was with Alan… with everybody!”

Alan Thicke died of a “ruptured aorta,” according to his newly-released death certificate.

According to TMZ, the document states that doctors tried to save the late actor’s life by performing a median sternotomy, which is a surgical procedure during which a vertical incision is made along the sternum to allow access to the heart and lungs for further surgery.

Alan had the heart attack around 11:15 a.m. on December 13 and died three hours later in surgery at Providence St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Burbank, Calif. The time of death is listed as 2:14 p.m.
